Pipes bring into my life such values as historical, sociological and artistic. They bring me satisfaction not only when making them but also thanks to the friendship with people who smoke them.
It all began with Adam and Eve,...well, perhaps a little later, particularly in the year 1948 when the history of the company „Pipe Studio Mr.Bróg” began and which I own today. My pipe adventure began in the year 1991 when I started to cooperate with the pipe master Kazimierz Rog. From „Him” I received my first experiences and also obtained contacts to other pipe masters from Przemysl. In the workshop of Mieczyslaw Walata I passed the exams and received a diploma of a master of the pipemaking craft.
A great education for me have been and still are the international meetings of pipemakers where we can compare our work and skills. I learned a lot from friends like Luiggi Grugnoli „GiGi” and Domenico Romeo „Mimmo”, Rolando Negoita from the USA, Luiggi Viprati from Italy and I also appreciate Teddy Knudsen and Tom Eltang from Denmark.
My greates passion is creative making of all sorts, making of author pipes called „autographs”, furthermore wood carving, rustical furniture, paintings and other related arts... For the making of the „autograph” pipe series I used the highest quality briar which I mostly select myself directly from the briar cutters in Italy. For these pipes I often use acrylic stems, ivory aplications etc.
I was born on 14.2.1965, I have a wife named Renata and two sons: Jákob (16) and Michael (9).
